Inside Sales Associate Position – Job Description 7-19-12

  • Generate sales from new clients
  • Prepare formal quotations
  • Establish a strong customer base to generate repeat business
  • Make follow up calls
  • Gather in-depth knowledge of ALBA FIBER SYSTEMS extensive product line to answer questions, recommend solutions based on each customer's needs

Sales will be generated from all of the Following Sources:

  • Your Contacts in Distributors of Video Surveillance Security Equipment
  • Leads from domestic Trade Shows
  • Leads from Manufacturers’ Representatives (factory independent rep firms)
  • Answering in-bound calls from prospective customers
  • Contacting prospective customers who have requested additional product

information on our web site (soon)

  • Making out-bound calls to Distributors, Integrators and Consultants to

generate new business

  • Repeat customers with whom you initially established contact (in-bound

and out-bound)


  • Previous Sales to Distributors, Integrators of Video Surveillance Systems
  • Technical background in CCTV Video Surveillance and Fiber Optics a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fast-learner and able to work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to learn the use of Contact & Customer Management Software


  • This is a Full-Time Position Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM
  • Base salary plus commission
