Physician Assistant (Former Employee) – Philadelphia, PA – October 25, 2016
The staff is great. There is a large team of Physician Assistants. The hospital in Philadelphia is not in a very nice area. Tough patient population. I only stayed for about 6 months then left for a better job opportunity

Busy taking care of patients, by running tests, monitoring vitals, etc... I learned more effective ways of caring for patients. Management was pleasant, and effective. My co-workers were team players and easy to get along with.
Patient Care Associate (Former Employee) – 5501 Old York Rd., Philadelphia Pa. 19140 – February 6, 2016
Great place to work...multitude of benefits and employee growth. Well it's close to home as far as public transportation and driving to either campus. I enjoyed working as a Patient Care Associate at the main campus because my skill level there was more clinical in which I had more of a connection with the physicians in the care of our patients. Where as in a rehab setting, the direct patient care is phenomenal this is why Moss Rehab is well known but I don't have the connection with the primary care docs and R.N's nor am I utilizing any of the skills such as phlebotomy, EKG's, bladder scans etc that I learned and used while at the main campus. In the rehab ( at Moss) my joy is being a part of a team that assist patients' with brain injury to at a point where they have been taught through our Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy staff to resume normal or close to normal basic functions of life. I work on the Brain Injury Center (BIC)...and it's quite a joy to see a patient we have cared for come in several months after discharge to visit...an tell us how thankful they are for our exceptional care alongside showing us that we made a difference in their lives.

Histotechnologist (Current Employee) – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – September 30, 2015
A typical day is employees greeting each other, asking how everyone is doing just family life. The hardest part is not more time in the day to learn more from others. The most enjoyable part of the day is finding out someone (that you would never think of) will know how to help you.

Registered Nurse (Former Employee) – phila, pa – June 17, 2015
A marathon from the moment you start til the moment you finish. Don't expect to eat. I learned never to trust managers. My co-workers were the only good part of the job. Never getting a break was the toughest part of the job. The most enjoyable part of the job was going home. One last thing, do not trust management.

Is a very critical workplace with very demanding patients who has various and special needs. I have learned a lot working at AEMC, for instance I learned how to do phlebotomy work, bladder scans, accu checks etc. Doing phlebotomy work on a patient who has small or blown veins. Knowing that the patients are well satisfied and well.
