Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) – Odessa, TX – March 21, 2018
you had your job as long as you did it. witch was not hard. show up and dont yell at anyone. ok pay for what we did. you would need to work full time and for at lest a year before it was worth anything else.
Good people work here but the wrong people in charge
Sales Associate, customer service (Former Employee) – San Diego, CA – March 19, 2018
depending on who called out sick I never knew what I would be doing it would change on a day to day basis, some days I would cover produce and the deli and then meat and seafood, it didn't matter whatever they needed I did it for them.
Not a great place to work anymore since they merged with Safeway.
Morning Stocker (Current Employee) – Murrieta, CA – March 18, 2018
Management is terrible. They only give management hours, otherwise youre working the min 24-28. You can be a terrible person to to your coworkers and nothing will be done about it due to union protection. If you want to transfer good luck. Other store directors dont really care to bring on others from another store im sure, because its too much hassle and they like their cushy do nothing jobs. Besides the baggers that are usually teenagers, everyone is older and constantly grumpy. Many seem to talk trash on eachother constantly. You cant just show up, do your job and leave. They make mountains out of ant hills.
1 week vacation paid after a year. Benefits, but its expensive. You can be a crummy worker and not get fired.
Assistant Manager of the service deli (Former Employee) – Idaho Falls, ID – March 14, 2018
It's a good place to work , excellent benefits, good management, competitive pay. I miss the people I worked with. The prices are better than you think. Good products and produce. It is a good place to shop. They have excellent customer service skills.
Worked great with my school schedule. Learned the different management placements and how to get there. The hard part was closing. The best part of the job was being able to use my art and creativity skills to decorate cakes.
Clerk/Cashier and forklift operator (Former Employee) – taft ca – March 11, 2018

CASHIER/BOOKKEEPER (Current Employee) – Hillsboro, OR – February 26, 2018
Albertsons is a fine company to work for. They have good pay and benefits through the union. It has fast paced times and slow times during the day. Holidays are very busy and fast paced. This job requires you to stand while working, and interact with customers.
Unstable and unpredictable in regards to weekly hours; both scheduled and guaranteed.
Produce Clerk (Current Employee) – Newbury Park, CA – February 22, 2018
The management at the store level is very fair and accommodating. The company has a tendency of taking advantage of people who are willing to do more work without compensation or incentive to work harder. I really did enjoy working with fellow associates, as the work culture was pleasant.
Good benefits, decent pay.
Lack of guaranteed hours; constantly fluctuating, usually towards a lack of.
