SALES ASSOCIATE (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXJune 28, 2017
With luxury retail, your days can go by slowly since there is less foot traffic. You start my checking your emails and setting up appointments and fittings to drive clients to come into the store, or for you to come to them. Product is amazing and the knowledge provided is astounding. The history of the label is exciting and its exiting to be apart of. Workplace was mostly positive however can be stressful due to its all numbers driven. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting all kinds of people, from all over the world and making them feel beautiful and confident in our product offerings.
Pros
Meet many different people, heavy product knowledge, involved in buying decisions for the boutique, discount, sales goals with strong initiatives, styling opportunities, traveling

Sales Assistant (Work Experience) (Former Employee) –  V&ANovember 14, 2016
A typical day as a retail assistant often consists of maintaining a store environment that is a pleasant experience for all customers by managing many responsibilities simultaneously. Work begins fairly early in the morning, often before the retail location opens, and an 9-to 5 hour workday begins. Retail assistants handle a wide variety of routine tasks, such as managing cash; ordering stock; and maintain store display and assisting customers. In addition, a retail assistant can expect to deal with customer complaints, and other unexpected things that occur in a retail environment. On average, retail managers may work as many as 25 or more hours per week.
