Teacher (Current Employee) – Alexandria, VA – November 1, 2015
Teachers are treated very badly by Alexandria School System. Huge turnover. Told not to waste time on students who could pass Standards of Learning test or those students who were too far behind to catch up. Told to only focus on students who were close to passing test. Parents should not send their students to this school system. Poor education, lots of violence, no consequences. Administration only worried about the numbers. Horrible working conditions. Atmosphere of despair by students and teachers alike.
