Alight is looking for a talented, highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our sales team. This individual should be able to demonstrate a successful track record in managing a pipeline of sales opportunities across a vast geography. This individual must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be a motivated to take on any challenge necessary to ensure a successful outcome for Alight and our customers. Strengths in communication, strategic and analytical thinking are critical.

Responsibilities:
1) The Account Executive is responsible for managing leads that are provided by Alight Planning, as well as working to generate additional leads with the assistance of the company’s Marketing team. Leads are normally Directors, Vice Presidents or Chief Financial Officers of a company, and a high level of professionalism is expected during every aspect of the sales process.

2) The Account Executive is responsible for working the lead through a defined sales process, including outbound proactive prospecting. Alight will provide training on our sales process along with documentation that will help enable success.

3) The Account Executive will have a specified sales quota with an expectation to meet quarterly and annual goals.

Work Environment:
One of the most visible roles in our organization, the Account Executive is expected to travel up to 60% of the time to meet with prospects, with the balance of work done at a home/office or at one of our company offices. Data about our leads, prospects, opportunities and customers is tracked in SalesForce.com, and familiarity with it or similar systems is highly desirable.

A dedicated staff of sales assistance (Pre-Sales Consultants), business partners, marketing resources and account managers help round out a team that is dedicated to assist you to be successful.

Required Skills:
Experience in the Financial Services, High Tech, Healthcare or Education sectors is preferred
Executive level sales, with preferred sales to CFO’s and Finance groups within the business
Average sales in the $50,000-$100,000 range
Track record of achieving $1M+ sales quota
Bachelor’s degree, CPA or Master’s degree preferred
Minimum 5 years selling experience in B2B
Experience selling financial software

Compensation:
Base Salary plus attractive commission plan without a cap
