A full-time Monday-Friday office assistant needed for a busy logistics and trucking company located in Huntington Park, CA. This is an entry level position with huge opportunity to learn and grow. The opening is immediate and we need someone who can jump right into our busy schedule.
The right individual must have:
- High School Degree at a minimum
- Must be flexible and a quick learner
- Must be able to work with computers and utilize software applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook
- Good communication skills
- Organization skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and under pressure and learn new things in a timely manner
- Must be prompt, reliable and punctual
Everything extra you bring in terms of skills and experience is a plus. We don't require prior experience in any industry EXCEPT that you MUST have the above skills.
The person we need will be involved in everything. Some of the responsibilities will include helping in the hiring process of new drivers, maintaining files, researching quotes, creating and processing documents related to the logistics and trucking business, answering phone lines, filing, answering e-mails, processing invoices, etc. There will be tons of opportunities to learn import and export as well as trucking business.
Compensation: $10/hour with advancement opportunities
Benefits: paid holidays after 60 days, vacation (unfortunately, we don't offer medical, vision, dental or 401K)
