Not your typical sales job
Home services consultant (Former Employee), Atlanta ga – April 24, 2013
Pros: nice managers
Cons: too many disclosures and slick sales pitches
Training was GREAT until we got on the phones. This is not your typical sales call center. I thought that these customers were knowingly calling in to get services set up. They have no clue why they are being transferred to AllConnect and you have so many "verbatim" paragraphs to read, my mouth was literally tired of moving so much. Lots of $$$ to be – more... made but be prepared to talk until you head hurts. – less

Fun workplacewith great management
Home Service Consultant (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA – March 28, 2013
Pros: making extra money and speaking with customers
Cons: not speaking with customers and not making extra money.
A typical day at Allconnect was giving customer service to customers who were moving into a new area. You learned something new everyday there, what plan has changed and so forth. The hardest part of the job is not being able to perform the way you want to whether it was you or just the way the calls were flowing. However, you always ended up with a – more... good day being around your co workers to make you laugh. – less

Great pay but terrible management
Home Services Consultant (Former Employee), Saint George, UT – March 27, 2013
Pros: pay, bounus's
Cons: management, benefit prices
The job itself wasn't too bad but management was awful. They were all over the place and frequently hired new supervisors with little to no experience whatsoever. Benefits were also amazing, although a little pricey.

Loved the people i worked with!!
Home Services Specialist (Former Employee), Lexington, KY – March 26, 2013
Pros: free lunches from time to time, cool people to work with, nice facility
Cons: poor management, everyday worries, forceful sales tactics
While this was my first over the phone sales job... I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR....THIS JOB IS NOT FOR EVERYONE with that being said the entire time i worked for allconnect i feared being terminated. My original hiring class started with 20+ people i was one of the lucky 4 to graduate out of this class so meaning you were not permanent once hired on. – more... While at allconnect i can say that i had met some of the most friendly people to work with which i can say made the job much more easier and i think that would be the biggest part i will miss. During my stay at allconnect a very cool thing they do to keep the teams motivated is drawing which is very motivating – less

Fun environment.
Inside Account Executive (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA – November 27, 2012
Pros: lots of incentives to earn more.
Cons: short lunch breaks.
On a typical day, there would be contests going on between the teams. We would always have team building exercises and also interacted a lot outside in the community.

Productive enviroment, hardcore sales.
Relocation Specialist (Former Employee), Saint George, UT – October 28, 2012
Pros: free lunch on hard days
Cons: very hard on time constraints
good break room, environment is calm and friendly. learned a lot of sales techniques. co-workers are either really positive or really negative. hardest part was how strict they were on attendance and punctuality. disciplinary action for being even a minute late, even if it wasn't a consistent problem.

The job was an absolute rollercoaster ride, for lack of a better word!
Home Services Consultant (Former Employee), Saint George, UT – May 23, 2012
Pros: the paychecks, the socialization, the companionship with co employees, the energy on the sales floor, the support.
Cons: not a flexible work envirnment, as far as adherence is concerned.
Cut throat adherence policy. Not even valid, that I'm not aloud a bathroom break, during a 3 hour window. 10 hour days, with a 30 minute lunch, and 2 15 minute breaks.
I learned how to be cut throat, and manipulitive in the sales envirenment.
My Co-workers, were amazing, supportive, and energetic! Loved, and miss them.
Hardest part, was dealing with – more... such strict adherence, and being fired, before given the chance to bring it back up.
The most enjoyable part, was the great successful feeling I recieved, from helping people, and scoring such great numbers. The people, I worked with, and the energy, on the sales floor.! – less

Innovative and a fun place to work
Relocation Specialist (Current Employee), Atlanta, GA – May 8, 2012
Pros: continuous training, good leadership
Cons: constant schedule change, issues with software
I help customers symplify their lives a little by providing them with the latested promotions available to them for cable, internet, home phone, and now mobile service. I love the people I work with. We are like family and work together well as team. My manager is very helpful and easy to talk to about any situation. The hardest part of my job may be – more... when we are not able to meet the customer's needs due to location. – less

fun place to work with pay to match.
Home Service Consultant (Former Employee), Saint George, UT – May 1, 2012
Pros: pay is good, and acknowledgement when you top of the agents.
Cons: sales burn out, most sales are part time, no option but full time here
Allconnect is a very enjoyable job and has the earning potential to make home life just as fun, the training is fun and faily easy but you need to have a sales attitude at the same time, this job revolves around sales with customer service and data entry to follow ( however not always in that line, sales is always number 1 but customer service seems – more... to fall with supervisors pushing for the agents to sell sell sell, and not always being serviceable to what they are pitching, the commission report changes regularly with no agent really understanding how they are making money as well as the flip side why they aren't making what they used to, upper management is very friendly as long as your a known agent (someone who sells) and you can almost get away with anything (meaning getting off the phones when you want, sitting with someone to train them just because you want off the phone), some supervisors need more training on how to be supervisors and how to treat their agents, however you can usually look past all those faults when making 15 -25 dollars an hour with the commission ( again, if you able). – less

Productive and fun workplace with ping pong table
PARTNER MANAGER (Current Employee), Atlanta, GA – April 11, 2012
Pros: n/a
Cons: n/a
Positive things coming for Allconnect due to the strength of its call center employees and direction from the senior leadership. Strong opportunity for growth with many promotions coming from within the company.

Cons

Traffic getting to the office off of Hammond in the Concourse complex near Perimeter Mall is tough. Although the new exit at 400 should – more... help to ease traffic particularly in the evening. – less
