Private Pay Insurance Coordinator Position

*Excellent Customer service skills: friendly, outgoing, caring but able to ask direct questions and sell our service.
*Excellent Follow up and tracking
*Ability to communicate with multiple departments
*Ability to complete financial arrangements
*Ability to promote/sell our service to callers
*Coordinate Patient Care
*Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
*Microsoft Outlook
*Microsoft Excel

Daily Job duties:
*Answer non contract calls (private, insurance, escort companion)
*Discuss financial arrangements with the responsible person for patient care
*Complete Intake forms and discussion of clinical and financial information
*Prepare and collection of service agreement
*Follow up doctors’ orders with clinical
*A-Team preparation/updates
*Assist in the selection of aides for A- Team training
*Coordinate aides for non-contract patients
*Ability to communicate payroll process to aide
*Attendance Check for Private Pay/Insurance/Companion/Escort patients
*Calls weekend/nights
*Send final approval to Intake, Coordination, Clinical and Financial/Billing departments
*In house cold calling to increase non-contract business
*Assist with arranging events for building business
*Attend weekly Private Pay Insurance meetings and A-Team meetings
*Work closely with marketing team
*Learn different types of coverage and how they interact with private pay (piggy back)
*Follow up discontinued cases to see if interested in private pay service or information about MLTC’s.
*Complete referral forms to MLTC
*Use HHA Exchange Referral Tracking and Private Insurance Excel log
