Alliance is one of the largest Third Party management companies in the Western United States, with a $3.0 billion portfolio spanning 10 states and 18 metropolitan markets. Alliance was established concurrent with the merger of Trammell Crow Residential - West and BRE Properties Inc., a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust in 1997. Alliance was formed to provide superior residential management services exclusively to Third Party owners. Alliance was subsequently privatized by the award winning team of veteran real estate executives, formerly the Trammell Crow Residential - West management team.
Alliance has offices in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas, Austin, Houston and Atlanta. Having regional offices in most of the cities where we manage assets, allows Alliance professionals the ability to be responsive to local market needs and changes, and provides upper management support and oversight. Our local presence, combined with the ability to make important and timely strategic decisions, enable Alliance associates to provide superior residential management services. Presently under management are over 100 apartment communities, containing approximately 25,000 units. Properties range in size from 100 units to 1200 units, and range from Class "AAA" to Class "C" apartment communities. In addition to garden style conventionally financed properties, Alliance has extensive experience in managing mid-rise, high-rise, student/faculty housing and tax-exempt bond assets.
The professionals of Alliance have successfully transitioned over 200 communities and leased up over 60 new apartment developments over the past decade with the current and predecessor company. Several of the transition assignments included property repositioning of older communities in "B" and "C" markets. All of the repositioning included capital renovation work. Alliance personnel have completed 75 construction rehabilitation projects amounting to over $104 million.
The development professionals have completed over 30,000 units in apartment homes throughout the Western United States.
