SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Industry leading machining, fabrication and precision Company has immediate need for proven Quality Engineer to interpret customer and internal quality requirements and assure the existing systems for such are compliant.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
The Quality Engineer will review primary documents against customer requirements, quality requirements, inspection and special gauge or tool requirements, Will develop quality plans. Reviews manufacturing planning for incorporation of inspection and test points and determine special gauging requirements. Develops inspection planning for receiving, in-process, assembly, final and test inspection. Conduct non-conformance investigations and follow-up; participate on Continuous Process Improvement Teams. Conduct internal audits of Quality system. Participate or facilitate customer or AS 9100 audits, perform trend analysis on product issues and corrective actions. Review supplier purchase orders, ratings, and corrective actions. Act as Quality Department Representative on material Review Board. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
 Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
 Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance
 Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Industry
 Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communications skills.
 Self directed and self motivated with a strong work ethic.
