Each tech checks the schedule for the day to find out what tasks they are to handle that day. Go into ante room and put on PPE. Make sure all equipment is cleaned. Make IV admixtures. Manage orders in the computer. Management has an open door policy for any potential questions. We work as a team with the pharmacist to ensure that all task are completed – more... in a timely manner.The hardest part of the job is when we have to manage all task while we are short staffed. Cons: management, hiring friends who do nothing all day long
