When I first started 5 years ago, business was soaring, lots of bonuses and compensations for hard work, easy to advance in and out of departments. We had quarterly meetings--long and drawn out--but we knew what was going on. Equally we had monthly meetings but that is now no more.
After 2 "work reductions", bonuses were unobtainable, quota requirements went up, work load increased due to lack of man power. Easy to burn out. Management does what they can, but not always good communication with departments on what is going on--transparency is gone.
I enjoy the people I work with, the company does do good things for others, but employees are under compensated for the jobs they do. It is a high stressed job, and many have left for more competitive salaries and advancement opportunities. So many good people have left.
