Once Altice came in all over the tenured and higher paid technicians were let go

What a shame that Cablevision is no longer. Altice only cares about the bottom line and compromises ethics and integrity. All techs have been displaced and all jobs have been outsourced because the company doesn't want to pay benefits

I started here right after Cablevision was bought out by altice. the communication is horrible, the training is spotty and inconsistent, the information is all over the place.... they are very strict on time and are willing to let you go and write you up for anything..

With Altice USA taking over optimum things have gotten really bad. The company wants to outsource everything, communicate as little as possible with employees and vendors then they lie a lot and change everything at the last second.

I worked for Cablevision for 5+ years, it was a great place to work with good management, and good pay and benefits.
Only real problem with the company was it was hard to move around. Not many job opportunities to move around and advance within. That would be my only complaint. I would give working at Cablevision 5 stars but not having room for advancement dropped it to a 4.
