Team Leader (Current Employee) – New Jersey – June 24, 2017
The benefits are currently very good. My personal situation needs more work/life balance which they cannot provide. This was formerly Cablevision which will forever remain the best company to work for in my heart. Altice has changed many things since they took over which have been very hard to adapt too after 17 years but still a good company.
Senior Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Melville, NY – May 6, 2017
Excellent cultural and great work environment. Flexible schedule that accommodated the job function. The most enjoyable part of the job is the interactive customer interface in media streams (such as twitter, Instagram, chat rooms, etc.)
Once Altice came in all over the tenured and higher paid technicians were let go
Senior Field Technician (Former Employee) – New Jersey – May 4, 2017
What a shame that Cablevision is no longer. Altice only cares about the bottom line and compromises ethics and integrity. All techs have been displaced and all jobs have been outsourced because the company doesn't want to pay benefits
Terrible mgmt, no thought for employees, only focused on the bottom line driving the company into the ground
Senior Programmer Analyst (Current Employee) – Jericho, NY – May 4, 2017
Great benefits and compensation package and provides a lot of resources for career growth and learning. Great work life balance and management is pretty lenient. Good place to work if you are raising a family.
Technical Support Representative (Tier II) (Current Employee) – Newark, NJ – May 1, 2017
I started here right after Cablevision was bought out by altice. the communication is horrible, the training is spotty and inconsistent, the information is all over the place.... they are very strict on time and are willing to let you go and write you up for anything..
Inventory Management (Current Employee) – Bethpage, NY – April 27, 2017
With Altice USA taking over optimum things have gotten really bad. The company wants to outsource everything, communicate as little as possible with employees and vendors then they lie a lot and change everything at the last second.
Technical Support Representative (Current Employee) – Jericho, NY – April 25, 2017
Spent about 3 years there as technical support rep. It was above average in terms of compensation. Opportunity to advance or transition can be limited. There are so many people competing for the small amount of positions open.
Associate Customer Relations Coordinator (Current Employee) – Township of Randolph, NJ – April 24, 2017
As a Technology company it is a good challenge for anyone who starts a new career. This company is very known for being fear, honest and willing to work with all its employees. I am very proud being part of all new advances of it and thankful for all this company offers me.
Switch Technician (Former Employee) – Bethpage, NY – April 14, 2017
Working for Altice you have the possibility for an education job growth as long as you are willing to put in the time and effort. Here you will exposed to some ground breaking ideas and concepts. Here you can develop skills and express your ideas that may further advance telecommunications.
Great place to work, good benifets and pay, but terrible job advancement
Logistics Operator (Current Employee) – Bethpage, NY – April 5, 2017
I worked for Cablevision for 5+ years, it was a great place to work with good management, and good pay and benefits. Only real problem with the company was it was hard to move around. Not many job opportunities to move around and advance within. That would be my only complaint. I would give working at Cablevision 5 stars but not having room for advancement dropped it to a 4.
great co workers and managment didnt bother you infact they where very friendly and helpful
