ALVIS HOUSE OPEN INTERVIEWS
Alvis House, a nationally accredited leader in the community corrections field and a United Way member agency, will be conducting Open Interviews for multiple positions at our Administrative Offices located at 2100 Stella Court, Columbus, Ohio 43215

Interviews will be conducted on Monday, July 29th, 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m. Varied shift schedules available. We offer extensive training, competitive benefits package, and a 401(K) Plan.

Clinician(pay $14.67)

Clinician position providing innovative substance abuse, cognitive behavioral, and aftercare services to individuals in a correctional
setting. Extensive training provided. 12 pm to 8 pm schedule, may include Saturdays. Master's degree in social services field, minimum
of CDCA.

Community Reentry Specialists (pay $10.00/hr)
Monitor all individuals entering and exiting the facility, and ensure the whereabouts of all clients are accounted for at all times. Employees will engage with clients on a routine basis, and utilize cognitive behavior techniques, in order to foster and promote positive and productive thinking and interpersonal skills; employees may be required to facilitate staff training on tasks related to coverage duties, as well as client group sessions on healthy decision making, as needed. May be required to work overtime, fill in for absent workers, as needed, in order to maintain desired staffing levels for a 24/7/365 operation. Qualifications: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Case Manager (pay $12.00/hr)
Manage cases for assigned residents/clients, and assure that each client receives continuous active treatment in accordance with his/her individual program plan (IPP) or equivalent. Employees will engage with clients on a routine basis, and utilize cognitive behavioral techniques, in order to foster and promote healthy decision making & positive interpersonal skills; employees may be required to facilitate client group sessions on healthy decision making, as needed. Qualifications: Associate's Degree in human services, criminal justice, behavioral sciences, social work, or other related field.
Clinician (pay $14.67/hr)

Prepare and cook large quantities of food for residential facilities, agency events and/or special programs. Qualifications: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Six months to one year related experience

DD Services CQI Coordinator (pay $13.75/hr)
The purpose of this position is to ensure that DD Services programs and services are implemented in accordance with agency standards, state & federal rules and regulations, to facilitate the meeting of desired outcome measures. Incumbents in this position complete informal and formal internal assessments of programs and services; implement & monitor performance improvement plans; provide training and coaching to designated staff to deliver quality programs and services; and maintain accreditation documentation. Qualifications: Associate Degree in business, management, criminal justice, administrative sciences, or related field; One to two years related experience.

Habilitation Specialist (pay $10.00/hr)
Provides direct care to agency's Developmental Disabled client population, and ensure that contracted services are provided on a continuous basis. Qualifications: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Home Manager (pay $13.00/hr)
Provides direct supervision to staff on assigned shift. (e.g. habilitation specialists),assist with facility coverage and administrative duties. This classification requires working knowledge of assigned program policies and procedures, facility rules and regulations. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; One to two years related experience.

Program Assistant (pay $11.25/hr)

The purpose of this classification is to assist in the implementation of client programming, and provide administrative support to the program manager.

Shift Supervisor-Corrections (pay $13.50/hr)

The purpose of this classification is to provide direct supervision to staff on assigned shift (e.g., community corrections specialists), and assist with facility coverage and administrative duties. Employees will engage with clients on a routine basis, and utilize cognitive behavioral techniques in order to foster and promote in clients, healthy decision making and positive interpersonal skills. This classification requires working knowledge of assigned program policies and procedures, and facility rules and regulations. Qualifications: Assoc. degree in criminal justice, human services, social work, psychology, or other related field; Two years exp. in community corrections, corrections, or other related environment in lieu of degree requirement.
Shift Supervisor-DD Services (pay $13.50/hr)
The purpose of this classification is to provide direct supervision to staff on assigned shift (e.g., Habilitation Specialists), ensure active treatment and assist with facility coverage and administrative duties. Employees will engage with clients on a routine basis, and utilize cognitive behavioral techniques in order to foster and promote in clients, healthy decision making and positive interpersonal skills. Employees will assist in the implementation of behavior support plans and individual program plans. This classification requires working knowledge of assigned program policies and procedures, concept of active treatment and facility rules and regulations. The shift supervisor is responsible to provide duties to the ICFDD and up to 15 consumers. The shift supervisor is responsible for the supervision of 10-15 direct reports in conjunction with the Program Manager. Qualifications: Assoc. degree in criminal justice, human services, social work, psychology, or other related field; Two yrs. exp. serving DD population in a residential setting in lieu of degree.
Treatment Manager (pay $14.67/hr)
The purpose of this position is to ensure case management structure and processes are adhered to under the framework of cognitive behavior programs and services. Incumbents in this position complete assessments & case plan goals & objectives, consult with clinical staff, and supervise case managers responsible for direct case management services. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in behavioral sciences, criminal justice, psychology, social work, or related field; or equivalent training & experience; One year training in supervisory principles & techniques or direct supervisory experience.
