great experience
CNA/Home Aide, Per Diem (Former Employee), Bristol, CT – April 24, 2013
i worked 1st shift and depending on the client i would provide companionship, feed, and change them. I had no coworkers but my boss was very nice. I learned how important my education as a CNA was and I'm glad I was able to use it! I enjoyed being able to be a friend to the client for a day and learn about their lives!

Great Entry Level Position
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Lakewood, CO – April 21, 2013
Pros: involvement of management
Cons: no benefits
I would arrive at work, log onto my computer and clock in, from there I would review any messages reguarding policy changes, meetings, or other work related memos. After going through memos I would then begin to pick up the previous days work including but not limited to building and maintainging personell files and employee files, assisting with the – more... creation of client care plans, applying for insurance credentials, creating and updating employee training techniques and requirements, etc. The management of Always Best Care for the most part was great, I could always go to management with questions or concerns and they would be more than happy to respond. My co-workers were exceptional, they all helped one another out and completed all work that was assigned. The hardest part of my job was learning all the law and ethics that go into the healthcare field. The most enjoyable part of my job was the satisfaction I felt when I knew the work I was doing helped someone have a better life. – less

A wonderful company to work for with easy communication with management.
In Home Caregiver (Former Employee), Sandy, UT – February 25, 2013
As every day working in a home care setting is different there are no 'typical' days. Each day was a new experience with many different situations. Management was always available to answer any questions or concerns that might arise.

Caregiver (Former Employee), Palm Desert, CA – January 15, 2013
Typical day consist of grooming my client, meal preparation, and cleaning. The hardest part of my job would've been just being out in the heat Palm Springs is extrememly hot. The part I loved the most would've been watching movies with my client as well as the company parties.

Great place to work in and good environment.
Caregiver (Former Employee), Palm Desert, CA – December 20, 2012
Pros: christmas party
Cons: benefits, because, i had to apply to get them.
A typical day at work was: drive 30 mins to 29 Palms, wake up my patient, get her groomed up for the day, make her breakfast, administer her medication, record it in a notebook, brush her teeth, and then back to bed.

Gained plenty of work expirience.
Certified Nurse Assistant (Former Employee), Greensboro, NC – August 16, 2012
Pros: helping others and making them happy.
Cons: no cons i enjoyed everything.
A typical day at work is arriving at the clients home and checking that everything is ok. Ask them if there is something they want me to do before starting my daily routine of cleaning and organizing their home and then cooking a home made meal. I enjoy my one on one contact with my client because we grew close to eachother. Being there for them and – more... helping them makes me feel happy and I enjoyed every minute of it. – less

LOVE HELPING THE ELDERLY
PERSONAL CARE AIDE (Current Employee), Midlothian, VA – July 26, 2012
I LOVE WORKING WITH THE ELDERLY. I LEARN ALOT FROM THEM. THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB IS GETTING ATTACHED AND LOSING THEM. THE BEST PART IS SEEING THEM SMILE AND THE HAPPINESS OF BEING LOVED.

Volunteer Worker
Senior Care (Former Employee), Lakewood, CO – July 13, 2012
Pros: learning experiance
Cons: little hours
I volunteered at Always Best Care for school. It was a home health care busness that was just getting started and it was very chaotic. I wasn't able to get a lot of hours because of that and I feel like it was I good experiance on why there is a structure in healthcare and how it runs.

Nice
Home Health Aide (Current Employee), Durham, NC – May 14, 2012
Pros: live-in
Cons: non paid vacation
Overall great place at the residence that I currently work. A typical day: Preparing breakfast, b/s reading, med reminder, hygiene, dressing assistance, companionship, activities that the client loves such as: going grocery shopping, being outside in her garden, looking at antiques, reading, bible study etc. I have one co-worker who does some activities – more... different but, coordinates with what the client needs. The hardest part of the job would be getting the client ready on time for an appointment that they need to keep. But that is the nature of working with Seniors. Must have patience. The most enjoyable part of the job would be when I feel that the clients needs are met. What I have learned is that things change from moment to moment day to day and that I must adapt accordingly no matter how long it takes. – less
