Job Description:
AMARIS FAMILY SERVICES is a Parent/Child Visitation & Supervision Agency serving families throughout Western Washington in cooperation with the Department of Social & Health Services, Children's Administration of Washington. Full Time Positions (35-45) hrs Per week
Reports to: Visitation Program Director, Team Leader for matters of hiring, evaluation, policy
Work Hours: Monday thru Friday 10-6:30 ; Must be available Saturdays
Purpose of Position: To provide a safe, Positive Parent-Child Visiting environment, which encourages and assists parent to relate appropriately to their children, and to provide a pleasant atmosphere for children and safe transportation to- and from visits
Salary Range: $16.50 per hour DOE

Minimum Qualifications:
Age 21 and older with Business License to work as a contractor.
High School Diploma, One or more years of college Work in related field preferred.
Current CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens Certificate
Ability to Pass a Background Check with a good driving Record.
Must have a safe and reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license,
Auto insurance (upon hire candidate will need a business auto policy with a combined single limits of 1 million.
GPS, Cell Phone with wide range service and voice mail, Laptop (Microsoft Word
with internet access.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Supervise parent-Child Visits at the selected sites as per agency guidelines. Assist with and help to provide positive environment for Visits. Observe and document interaction between children and their parents. Intervene, if necessary, as per instructions. Submit reports to visitation office within 3 work days of visit. Testify as requested at the Juvenile Court. Keep good records of assignments performed, and work hours. Provide Childcare and transportation to and from visits as per agency regulations. Pick up Children at designated locations, escort to automobile, and secure in proper seat restraint. Care for and supervise children during transport as needed at appointment location. Return Child as arranged.
