Ambassadors Plus is driven by vision - to see a need in the market and then to determine the resources to fill that need. More than a decade ago, company founder Josh Wallace was with Ameripark, a national valet parking company in Birmingham, Alabama. He had started as a valet attendant but was quickly promoted to management, and by the time he left four years later, he had grown the company's parking business by 416%. Eager to combine his business savvy with his passion for customer-focused service, he launched his own company - then called Valet Solutions - in a new market where his unique brand of user-friendly service was greatly needed.
When the company was awarded the contract to provide valet parking for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, we significantly outpaced the competitor who had previously parked UAMS patient cars for 10 years. We grew valet numbers 47% our first year, and were re-awarded the contract several years later through a competitive bid process attracting several national firms.
Other early wins included St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center and the Little Rock National Airport (now the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport), clients we still have to this day. For years, we have continued to win and retain clients, producing long-term partnerships that are solid and successful.
As the company grew, it focused on healthcare hospitality and expanded its variety of services, although valet parking remained our specialty. It was at this point that the name of the company was changed to Ambassadors Plus and Michelle Wallace - who had worked alongside Josh Wallace since the beginning - became the owner, overseeing a renewed vision to provide companies seamless, customized hospitality services including valet parking, wheelchair escort, internal patient transportation, porter, information center, luggage and coat check, and concierge services.
Recent wins include the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, where we significantly increased total valet parks and dramatically decreased total costs during our first quarter; Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock; and our latest client - McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.
From the beginning, our tagline has been "Exceptional Service Without Exception" - and this mantra drives everything we do. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
