The pay at Amego is far better than most in the human service field. It is a VERY fast growing company which makes it hard to hire and keep the same staff which means less stability within the workforce. That also means less stability with the individuals and who they will be working with on a daily basis.
That being said, their mindset is great, their approach is great, (even though I think ABA does not work for all), upper management is EXTREMELY fair and balanced, they truly care about their employees which in this day and age is rare, especially in this field.
The benefits are great, most of the staff are good, there's never a perfect situation with having 100% amazing staff. They utilize a lot of overtime staff which is great if your trying to make a bunch of money but I think the individuals suffer at times due to the fact employees are working 3 shifts in row.
All that being said again, it is a growing company, they are working their butts off to hire new employees, they are VERY strict on passing MAP which I think is great. Every staff should be able to correctly pass medications to an individual.
