We are currently seeking an Area Sales Representative for the Jacksonville area. The Area Sales Rep position is a key role within our company for the sales organization and for the organization at large. This position is responsible for contacting business establishments to solicit business for Postage Meters, Mailing Solutions, Folder Inserters, Addressing Equipment and Shipping Solutions and provides a high level of customer service to new and existing customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ability to sell and manage the sales process.
Contacts prospects, interviews individuals involved in decision making processes.
Prepares price proposals in conjunction with demonstrations of Systems.
Thoroughly explains functionality of Systems and the advantages of services.
Develops and maintains relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and assistance.
Schedules quarterly customer meetings to provide historical account information, discuss customer issues, and determine further business opportunities.
Investigates and resolves customer problems arising from services provided.
Provides new customer data and other pertinent customer information to Customer Service Billing Department.
Prepares sales promotional letters and presentations to be sent to prospective customers.
Compiles lists and contacts prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from management, established customers, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Represents our company at trade shows or other promotional opportunities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience in the marketing/sales environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to respond to customer needs, prepare presentations and provide excellent customer service.
Requires strong interpersonal skills to develop rapport with customers and their representatives at various levels or positions.
Dynamic, productive, customer service-oriented track record required.
Ability to work effectively under the pressure of meeting quota and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Prior knowledge of Customer Relational Management (CRM) tools for Tracking.
Reliable transportation to make customer calls and to service customer accounts as needed.

Compensation starts @ $1,500 per month draw vs commission, health insurance, matching Simple IRA, auto allowance and phone allowance.
