Started off great but.....
Funding Specialist (Former Employee) –  Spartanburg, SCSeptember 3, 2016
This started off as a great company, but over the years things have steadily gone down hill. Medical benefits have gotten worse. As of now, there are only two plans available. One has a $2,500 deductible and the other is $3,000. The $2,500 deductible plan is expensive and the other plan is hdhp so you're basically paying for everything out of pocket unless something catastrophic happens. HR has made the culture very uncomfortable by taking away anything that they have deemed as privileges for the employees. There is no flexibility for the employees even when it's in the best interest of the company. HR has made it so tense to the point that it's an issue for an employee to come in early, even if it's only a few minutes. This is a good company for one to gain some experience, but there is a high turnover rate due to employee dissatisfaction. The employees are mostly hard- working, but they are miserable and it shows. The CEO does make attempts to hear what the employees have to say, but very few, if any improvements have been made. Lastly, management tends to make decisions that do not make good business or even logical sense sometimes. They would be more successful if they communicated with the people who do the job on a daily basis, but most of them don't take enough time to research the processes before changing them. It makes things harder for those who are doing the work and confuses the customers.
Pros
Occasional luncheons, clean facility, work- life balance
Cons
Few advancement opportunities, benefits, employees do not feel valued

Worst Company Ever to Work For: Bi-polar Management
Funding Analyst (Former Employee) –  Spartanburg, SCDecember 5, 2015
The worst place I've ever worked in!!! Don't work there!!! Policy changes daily. No set rules to follow. It drives employees and supervisors crazy. I worked there as a Funding Analyst for nearly two years. The Director and/or VP (Whatever they call him these days) is bi-polar. No good managers and/or supervisors can work under him long enough. He pressures the managers, the managers pressure the supervisors, and you got it, the supervisors pressure us employees. ACA has very high turn over rate. Bad management and very low pay. As demanding as the Funding Analyst position was, it pays only $12/hr. Not worth the stress and misery!
Pros
Decent benefits
Cons
Poor management and very low pay

The management team is horrible. Have a lot of favoritism going on in the company. Executive leadership team is not minority friendly. They are not open to hiring any minorities in the leadership roll.

Poor business practices, untrained management, nearly no training or professional development. I wouldn't recommend working here to... Really anyone.

Only pro would be for entry-level college grads looking for any kind of resume builder.

Could be a great company if every thing was fair. You don't get promoted on value or work ethics. Its who you know. Some people have been here 5 years and never gotten promoted. You could see if the people im talking about wasn't hard worker, laid out or didn't met goals but these are good worker.
Pros

Good workplace to get experience
Compliance Auditor (Current Employee) –  Spartanburg, SCOctober 11, 2015
I was hired with very little experience, which is great since most employers won't even talk to you unless you have several years of experience. Overall, not a bad company. It is very "good 'ol boy" and getting promoted is based more on whom you know, rather than what you know and how productive you are.
Pros
Good benefits and compensation
Cons
Favoritism and not much job security

Dealer Relations Market Manager (Former Employee) –  Spartanburg, SCAugust 23, 2016
in the office for people to use phone all day employees are seated too close and other conversations are distracting.

There is no give and take in the time to clock in and clock out. a 5 minute window for both. If you miss the window, you will be charged points (Occurences) against your record

Beware
UUnderwriter (Former Employee) –  Spartanburg SCAugust 24, 2012
This company has multiple issues. I worked there for about a year there is constant and extreme employee turnover of about 75%. Sad part is even the CEO knows and has admitted to the overwhelming turnover and that improperly trained and uneducated employees are being placed in positions undeserving. Most all underwriters being hired and promoted have never seen a credit report in their life. Management in that department recently changed for the worse. Has had several harassment complaints filed against them and nothing gets done. Females get paid less and the raises are less regardless of performance. This is the most unorganized unprofessional company I have ever worked for what a relief to be out of that mess.

Toxic work environment!!
Supervisor (Former Employee) –  SpartanburgDecember 11, 2013
Worst place I have ever worked. Completely a "good ole boys club". Males must have prior experience from Wells Fargo for advancement or to be in "the good ole boys club". Females don't waste your time, you will never make it past a supervisor level. Experience, knowledge, skill or education has no weight for advancement. Supervisors do not receive raises and bonus structures just magically decreases or disappears with no notice. Management has a extremely bad habit of promising rewards and bonus that NEVER happen. Background checks are not completed, therefore resulting in violent employees being hired. The police know ACA quite well due to numerous threats from estranged employees. It is also normal for the ambulance to be there. Employees are pushed beyond their limits resulting in many health issues. Employees and supervisors constantly pushed for productivity with little to no incentive, budget cuts constantly increasing, yet manager and CEO's party in Vegas. For your own health and safety stay away.

Nothing

Everything

Fast growing company with competitive atmoshpere. I was in collections and it was a good atmosphere. You were recognized for good work regularly. The management team genuinely cared about your well being and success. The hardest part of the job was just the ability to adjust to change and being flexible.
Pros
