American General was so widely known for its impeccable treatment of the employees that you would often find multiple generations of employees working at the organization. American General's primary focus was the employees and customers satisfaction and wellbeing.
Management at American General had vision and values, they were focused on constantly including employees in discussions on how to improve functions, held yearly company picnics and best of al, rewarded employees on their ability to perform a job.
The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to meet so many people who were inspired by the organization, who enjoyed their positions and who had recommended and had bothers, sisters, children and cousins because of this pride and love for the company and the management team.
Co-workers were more like friends. They were always willing to assist you with your projects when they could, the had a respect for the other workers around them and the had positive attitudes.
