Based in West Palm Beach Florida, the Development Manager will collaborate with local volunteers and community and corporate leaders to deliver mission and fundraising initiatives, assist with the creation of an annual area fundraising plan, provide staff support to execute local development programs, assist in recruitment of volunteers for area specific fundraising/subcommittee assignments, assist in promoting the American Lung Association to local clubs, organizations and businesses and train volunteers in fundraising techniques.
Bachelor degree and a minimum of three years of experience in non-profit special event fundraising, community outreach, committee development and corporate development is required. Experience in corporate development and third party fundraising is a plus. Strong presentation skills needed. Must have valid Florida driver license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation. Extensive local travel required. Occasional overnight travel. Non smoker.
