Boring and stressful
Proofreader (Former Employee), DeKalb, ILOctober 9, 2013
Pros: pay is somewhat decent
Cons: mandatory overtime, control-freak management.
Proofreading phone books in a basement really and truly is as boring as it sounds, but stress level is high due to unreasonable deadlines and limited regard for quality and accuracy. Upper management is like Big Brother: every second of your work must be logged (bathroom breaks!). Management expects proofreaders and graphic designers to work like machines – more... instead of people. If you can keep your self-esteem while being treated as if you are a lazy and/or stupid replaceable cog, you're a stronger person than I was. – less

Bad experience
Sales Rep (Former Employee), Northern Illinois and Southern WisconsinAugust 30, 2013
Pros: sales bootcamp
Cons: too many to list
I worked here for six months, which was about 3 months too long. One time I was 10 minutes late to my territory (managers would pop in on employees), which was over an hour and a half from where I lived and they docked me my car allowance that month. So they got a free car and gas for the entire month. I was also an above average performer at the time. – more... They also made me stay in my territory after I was finished there. I was not allowed to leave my territory for about a month after I was finished visiting every possible business multiple times. Therefore I had a month of annoying business owners who had told me no at least 3-5 times before. – less

Worst Company EVER
Sales (Former Employee), Des MoinesAugust 9, 2013
Cons: everything
Terrible company to work for, if you dont make your goals for 2 months straight you are put on straight commission just a warning. And you are expected to spend way to much of your own money in gas. Dont believe the hype- NO ONE USES YELLOW PAGES.

They make more money then they give
Private (Former Employee), Dekalb, ILJuly 16, 2013
Pros: some nice people in office
Cons: too many to list
Over worked and underpaid. I've seen good workers fired and horrible brown nosers get constantly promoted. It's not what you know it's who you know that gives you advancement with the company, if you can wait 2-5 years to get a promotion. It felt like I was serving time while big brother watched every move I made

It's a great company to work for!
Sales Account Manager (Current Employee), DeKalb, ILJuly 9, 2013
It's a great company to work for because there is so much positive energy and helpful management that makes the working day a little easier. The most difficult part of this position is cold-calling businesses all day but the best is making the relationships with the customers!

Horrid!!!
Private (Former Employee), DeKalb, ILApril 20, 2013
Pros: everyone i worked with all were in the same boat of misery, so i made strong connections with a few of my co-workers.
Cons: management is ridiculous and rude.
This is a horrible place to work. Do not, by any means, accept a position here. The management is suppressive and rude. Pay is laughable. Everyone that I stay in contact with can't believe they work/worked there. The atmosphere is dingy and there are few windows and limited natural light. They basically want you to work your a** off for no money, support, – more... encouragement, or appreciation. – less

very stressful, high rate of turnover.
sales manager (Former Employee), IllinoisFebruary 22, 2013
Pros: good benefits
Cons: stressful, high turnover, low salary
Company installs GPS on your personal cell phone. If you don't reach your sales quota for the month they deduct a good bit of money from your base salary. Revolving door ...new hire sales training classes held weekly. In house head hunters. Be prepared to work outside in the blazing heat & bitter cold. 40+ cold calls per day. Nice gig for someone fresh – more... out of university. – less
