Machine Operator/Forklift Operator (Former Employee) – Lancaster, NY – July 29, 2015
Management was easy to communicate with on dealing with issues of a fast paced incentive job. The ability to work overtime to help out the family was a plus. The work can be intensive and the hours can get long .The paychecks are worth it as long as you work for it.
Company is always donating and giving back to its employees as well as the community.

American Sales is an awesome place to work. We have a diverse group of people who work their tails off and get well compensated for doing it. The benefits are unbeatable with a 50% match 401K. Also, a 4 day work week which is great. The management is very understanding and willing to work with each employee on an individual basis. They truly care.

One of them IN MANAGEMENT (Former Employee) – Lancaster – December 23, 2012
Do not do it the management are liars they put the employees before you. They turn over all the time because they do not care about your life. If you are ready to sacrifice and put them before your family life then go for it. Long hours and you have to be a phony because they control you so much. You will be afraid to make decisions for fear of your job.
A good starting place for employment in the warehouse distribution industry
Senior Inventory Control Clerk (Former Employee) – Lancaster, NY – February 17, 2014
There were no surprises in a typical day at work as an order selector. The job was a routine based job. You always know what is expected of yourself. The management team rotates often so new ideas are constantly being thrown out on how to better operations within the warehouse. I learned to be flexible when it comes to ideas proposed by supervisors and management. The coworkers are usually pretty helpful with each other. The hardest part of the job is keeping productivity numbers up due to the amount of product location changes. The most enjoyable part of the job was feeling a sense of accomplishment when the work is done and done correctly and seeing the impact on other coworkers and/or the customers.
Order Selector (Former Employee) – Lancaster, NY – February 19, 2013
Its a pick and pack job, your being timed on how fast you pick, every week you have to meet a certain percentage if not you will be fired. At one point it was something wrong with the calculating systems, they knew about it yet i was still terminated, the job is not very stable because of the system they have going on, so they are constantly hiring and firing.
