Awful
Development Associate (Former Employee) –  Washington, DCSeptember 23, 2016
I've never had such a terrible work experience.

-Painfully poor communication.
-Bureaucracy by way of big money
-Professional advancement opportunities vary greatly by department.
-High number of senior staff/managers to coordinators/assistants, so there's very little in the way of earning true management skills.
Pros
Benefits are decent.

Great Learning Experience
Local Arts Advancement Intern (Former Employee) –  Washington, DCNovember 1, 2016
I had great mentors, and the internship program allowed me to spearhead individual projects and author my own publication and blog posts for the Americans for the Arts website.
