Emergency response officer, Tampa, FL - June 2, 2017
I worked there for over two years both at the port and at their nightclub division. Was told multiple times that I was up for promotion and that I would get raises. Never got a promotion and I only got one raise within the two years that I worked there. some of the supervisors they had left the company because they never got their supervisor pay when they were promoted. They would hire people and tell them that after 90 days they would get a increase in pay. As far as I know no one got a increase in pay. They would constantly lie to their employees telling them that they had various projects that needed personnel that was going to pay significantly more, none of those special projects came to pass. One of the supervisors that acquired the majority of the night clubs for the company was told that he would get bonuses for getting the contracts and he never did. They tend to keep people on part time status so they don't have to pay benefits. And they typically keep you at around 5 to 6 hours a day just enough to where it's difficult to find another job. They want people to be on call 24 seven but unwilling to give hours or pay just to stain only one job.
