Ames Bros. is the oldest and one of the largest distributors of ceramic tile in Western Canada. Founded in 1912 by Cyril Ames and his brother David, Ames Bros. started out as a small agency business on Alexander Street. The partnership didn't last more than two weeks but the company has continued for over 90 years as a family owned and run business – more... for three generations of the Ames family.
Over the years, Ames has expanded from the small downtown office on Alexander to 4,050 square metres of office, showroom and warehouse space on Beta Avenue in Burnaby, British Columbia with branch offices across Western Canada located in Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg.
Most important of all is the continued pursuit of the family tradition, 'A commitment to excellence and customer service,' that was instituted back in 1912 by company founder, Cyril Ames.
