Manufacturing electronic connectors sounds easy, but it can be pretty complex at times. I enjoyed the challenge of each type of connector we made at our plant, and with the expansion of electronics into everything, it became most interesting the variance in products to manufacture.

I worked with All Medical Personel on many occasions. In the beginning, I was a floater, working at labs that needed extra staff. Months later I found a home as a temp with Quest Diagnostics. I was offered a position with them but declined due to the offer. All Medical had much better benefits and a good quality at the time.

Review of AMP is not revenant because it no longer is a company and have no input on Tyco.

A typical day at A.M.P Services Inc. would be me answering phones, making phone calls and orders, dealing with customers and shipment, relating messages, making time sheets. I learned how to use excel on the computer the management was good the co-workers were always out doing jobs so I was at the office alone basically all day.

Administrative assistant.

Answer phone calls, Scheduling meetings, lunches and communicating with customers.
I also created some graphics for their current site.

System Development Specialist working on Business objects & crystal reports & ITSM 7.1, SQL, PL/SQL

I ended my 24 year career with AMP as an Inventory Cleck

Cycle Counts, Adjustments upto $1000.00, Data Entry, Returns to Stores, Pick Orders For The Lines, Pull Shortages.

My supervisor was fantastic, friendly, and fair to all of her employees

Research of Inventory Discrepancies could be very time consuming

I trained special people how to do the job. I have alot of skills that i know would be good for any company.

Typical day early ready to go any time learned a lot of thing about things connecting together. Management had better and my co-worker great hardest part always something to do and do not know when I would be going home the enjoyable part LOTS of over time

Amp gave you opportunities to advance based on how driven you were to succeed. Unfortunately we were sold.

My main duties are Front Desk Reception looking after a very busy Reception area.

Booking meeting rooms for 20 meeting rooms

Servicing meeting rooms at busy times

Offering refreshments to clients

Managing catering assistants

Overall management of Front Desk

Most challenging part of my duties is the juggling of meeting rooms when they are so busy – more... and we have turn overs and the people especially top management will not leave the meeting rooms and you have other people waiting to use the meeting room. This is where maturity & professionalism enters your skills as I always find I can smooth a situation by being honest and seeming to solve the situation.

Co-workers are interesting as they are so diverse in personalities and work skills. I always find if they are well trained the staff will feel comfortable with the position they are employed to perform. Also time management plays a bit part in the jobs we perform as well as focus.

My most enjoyable part of the job is meeting such a broad range of clients. As it is so busy I personally like to get to know the staff & clients by name. – less
