BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Amsterdam Printing and Litho, a business unit of Taylor Corporation, one of the largest privately held companies in the USA, is a multiple division company that focuses on promotional products that are used for customer retention, tradeshow giveaways, employee appreciation, new customer generation, brand awareness and new product launches.
The Business Development Manager will take a leadership role to identify opportunities and develop initiatives to help grow the Amsterdam business. These initiatives could include opportunities with new product development, market development, or technological advancement. It could also include reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement that can produce measurable results.
Evaluate current business processes within Amsterdam via:
- Reviewing current operations in most departments
- Comparing competitive operations vs. internal operations
Make recommended changes to existing operations to improve competitive positioning
Seek out new opportunities by product, market, or technological innovation
Draft strategic plans identifying and prioritizing opportunities
Participate in strategy execution for these opportunities and evaluate results
Proficiency and Skills Required:
Understanding of how sales and marketing channels operate and integrate
Familiarity with e-commerce and telephony
Analytical skills including capability to produce forecasts
Critical thinking skills (converting problems or opportunities into strategic plans)
Familiarity with MS Office, CRM, Lifetime value
5 years’ experience in Market Development
3 years’ experience in Leadership
Proficient with MS Office, CRM, Lifetime Value
