you come in get your coding sheets for your facility. Enter your information. Your are not allowed any errors You must bill all your facilities daily. You have a team lead that do whatever. The supervisor does not say anything to the team lead. The supervisor does not know the Billing functions, she depends on the team lead. The team lead does not ask you what you are doing. She is a bully. and do not know how to address people. The team lead attitude is that she knows everything. The team lead assumes a lot things, quick to judge you, enjoy making the environment hostile and not a pleasant place to work. The team lead has the director blessing. The manager and supervisor agree with whatever. No one is going to say anything because they all need their jobs. The most enjoyable part of the job is leaving for the day. The work is not hard, just very detailed on Antiqued computer software The company will not invest in better computer software. So your system are down a lot .

Make you work like robots. Not allowed to be social for even 1 minute or you get told to get back to work! Management backstabbing and has their favorites. All they care about is themselves and the money coming in. They will flat out tell you that everyone is replaceable bc they don't care! Would never recommend this place!

If you want a life, do not work here! They care nothing about your well-being and home life unless you are in the clique with the manager who will not stand behind you in a situation. She sits at a desk while you are worked to death. Rare to get lunches, never know what time you get to leave, the doctors are all about filling their pockets, and lots of back stabbing. Totally not worth the stress.

AmSurg (CBO) is not a healthy place

It has been over a year since I left AmSurg (CBO) and after reading reviews, I can say things do not change.! Still to this day I say - thank God I am no longer working there! The environment in CBO is so toxic and it is all coming from the management. I know a lot of people have tried to contact HR department, wrote letters, still nothing has been done, still the same problems and same management.

Don't Waste You're Time

First off they lie to you in the interview. They tell you the only Over time you'll work as a Payment poster is at the end of the month. It's a lie! Be prepared to give your life up for a job that's not worth it.
They are never caught up on the work and the manager sits behind her desk playing around instead of actually helping everyone out. The Favortism is outrageous!
While the work it's self is fun, the childishness and insane hours are not worth it, unless you like that kind of environment.

-A typical office environment with limited employee association.
-Normal office drama far from managements grasp of control.
-Usual expression of favoritism between management and rest of staff.

Overall:
The COMPANY itself has a great vision and prospect of what it wants to be and what it can be. But the extensiveness of micromanaging being done by so many of the smaller manager tends to blur that vision down at the lower levels. That leads to much discouragement with the newer folks specially due to such a high turn over, and a feeling of fear tactics used to keep everything in line.

Not worth the 'money.'

The management staff care more about hanging out and being friends then actually doing their job. It reminds me of High School when you are constantly being talked about or stabbed in your back by co-workers and management. Your boss will talk to your co-workers about you!

Amsurg as a company is great. But the people that they have in upper management are tearing the company down. I have seen so many employees come and go within a week and they were all happy to leave. Majority of the supervisor and upper management are friends so if they do something wrong they are never punished for their wrong doing. They are the only ones with job security. There's tons of micro managing!! The benefits are ok. The raises suck :( And the supervisors are always belittling their employees instead of uplifting them.

the company seemed to care about the employees and i really enjoyed the group i worked with. they had good benefits. the hardest part of my job was having to type all day and not have any interaction with people.

There was no room for advancement. The company was top heavy with managers. The compensation was ridiculously low. However I believe that has changed in recent years.

There are very intelligent people who were a pleasure to work with and know.

We were short staffed all the time. The turnover rate was unreal, actually scary. Overtime was basically mandatory. Not much support from management or the doctors. No room for advancement and fairly low pay especially for the area. Samsung micromanage everything.
