A typical day at Amazon for me is starting my day off at a stand up meeting where we received our goals for the day and where we ending the pervious day at.

they talk to you like you are a kid they will let you go for no reson.

only hire for seasonal help usually october thru jan. then lay you off

An average day at work was very busy and repetitive. I learned how to use a scanner. Management was great. They let us know exactly what we needed to do to maintain. The co-workers were friendly. The hardest part of the job was keeping a good rate and the most enjoyable part of the job would be the music during work.

when use to work in where house i learned how to drive a forklift and also how to use a rt gun .a typical day at the warehouse was picking the guest orders n cleaning the warehouse.i love my manager and the supervisor they where nice and they help you in any issues or problem you may have and my co-worker we all get all work together also we all get – more...  along. the hardest part of the job was wen the Warehouse got hot in Sade and some time you could not find the part that guest order .my most enjoyable part of the job was accomplish all my task on time and had time help someone else or i would go learn something new. – less

Scan in, team meeting, get my scanner, grab a cart, grab a tote, and start picking. Very fast paced. Two picks per minute. A pick is a item off your list that needs to be shipped. I learned how many items are bought during each day off the internet. More then i expected. The management team was very supportive as well as the co-workers We all worked – more...  together and they were very teacher orientented when it came to you needing help and or being lost in something. The hardest part of the job would have to be how big the actual ware house was. But that was also my most enjoyable part because of the workout i received each day i worked. – less

Integrity had me assigned to an Amazon.com warehouse and I was later informed that I would've been offered a full-time position but I had a situation arise and missed work. I was dismissed from my assignment.

From the owner to the front desk, this is a well organized co.
If your straight with them from the beginning, they will put you to
work!!

Working at Amazon through Integrity gave me good warehouse experience. A typical night at work in the Customer Returns department was looking for damaged or defective items that got returned. Management there was great, they encouraged their employees to do well and gave lil tidbits in order to make the job easier. There really wasn't anything hard about my job but it was pretty hard to get hired on, especially if you started late in the winter. There was always a massive lay off right after Christmas and I didn't like that at all but what I enjoyed the most was the people, my ability to do any job within the warehouse and of course the pay, starting out at $12 an hour. – less

I love the foundation in which this company was built upon, I work with a blind and deaf client to complete daily task and goals implemented in her plan by the case manager. Each week case notes are submitted, via internet.

I did regular warehouse work, such as: data entry, picking, packing, labeling, shipiing and receiving. I learned how to stay productive throughout the work day and to stay busy at all times. The management team and my coworkers were both great, everyone worked together. I can say there was no hard part about the job and I liked everything about it.

Enjoyed working at a fast pace. I liked working by myself. The management was there when you needed help.

Everyday is diffrent, the start time changes, you are set to start at one time then the supervisor/lead wont pull you until their ready. they aren't consistant with the hours.

Work day is 10 hours of standing, turning, and walking. I learn a lot of what goes on in a wear house. like how to pack ordered items and problem solve. Management needs to learn how to appreciate the workers and not talk down to them or label us as "Work horses" who can and well be replaced. But otherwise it's a good place to work.

It was nice working there. the fact that they keep you guessing when and if your getting hired on makes it harder. You dont know if your going to be kept or being let go. I enjoyed meeting other assoiciates and being there during peak season.

It's a great place to grow and work with a very great staff. They treat their employees with the respect deserved. The starting pay is great also.

if you do not have the look they want. they will not help you. alot of these staffing agentcies do not help the working man.
