A typical day at work was comprised of customer service and operations. Here, I learned the basics of my customer service skills and also the foundation of my management skills. The store manager taught me everything I know, and was a great mentor for me. She coached the staff and myself consistently, delegated responsibility accordingly, and gave me – more...  plenty of opportunities to step up and accept a higher role of responsibility. My co-workers knew that I was their manager first and friend, second. They respected me and obeyed any requests management had. It was ok working here, lots of messes, lazy co-workers, rude managers. I wasnt treated very well mostly cause I was pregnant. I love working hard, working and acheiving goals. This wasnt the place for that.

I loved working here. I hated it when we got the news that the company was closing. I got along with everyone I met in the company, and I still am in contact with previous employees and managers.

The experience i had at Anchor Blue was really good. Helping customers look for sizes and they walkout with a smile on their face was because of me. it made me happy to be known as an employee who made the customers satisfied.
