Over the last 40 years, Ancilla Systems (ASI) has provided services and support to the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and their ministries. In 2004 Ancilla Systems completed the divestiture of its healthcare organizations. With this began the transition of ASI into a service and support organization for the Poor Handmaids. The various ministries, that are actively involved in the many communities where Poor Handmaids have served since 1868, now directly access the services and support of ASI.
The newly established board of directors then drafted the mission and vision, "serving PHJC ministries to serve others, guided by the PHJC values and beliefs". With a new purpose the Ancilla Systems team provides collaborative and professional services to all ministries.
These contributed services originally provided the PHJC ministries with critical administrative support in the areas of administrative, financial, ministry and support services. As the needs of the ministries expanded services in the areas of development and information technology were added. With ASI providing this support, the ministries are better able to focus on their respective mission and provide direct services to those in need.
Sister Symphoria recognized the need to establish Ancilla Systems in 1969 to respond to an increasingly complex and rapidly changing healthcare environment. ASI assisted the congregation and the then multi-hospital system with the complexities of modern management. The current Poor Handmaids are, just as Sister Symphoria was, visionary and committed to serving others through the quality services provided by Ancilla Systems. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
