I have never worked for a better area supervisor, or company, than Ancillary Advantage. If I had not had to tend to a terminally ill family member, I could have easily spent a large portion, if not all of, my career working for this company. It was very hard to walk away from such great people!
A typical day in the position of DME coordinator was showing up to the orthopedic clinic prior to patients arrival, and ensuring all preparations were made to have a smooth, productive, no wait type of day. I placed each patient with the necessary form of medical equipment, or cast/splint that was ordered by the physician, and completed the paperwork. At the end of each day/week, I entered the paperwork into the system, and then mailed the information to the home office. Daily communications between the area manager and I made my job very enjoyable, I never felt that I was left hung out to dry, or that I was facing difficulties alone.
Anyone that has an opportunity to work for Ancillary Advantage is truly blessed, and I wish that I could have stayed with them, but ultimately, family is more important, especially at the end days.
