Telephone Sales & Service Representative (Current Employee), Suitland, MDDecember 2, 2014
Pros: friendly employees
Cons: short breaks, no room for advancement
A typical day at work is taking incoming calls from members and non members to answer questions, assist with account maintenance, and take member transactions. My co-workers are very friendly, helpful, and make work enjoyable. The hardest part of this job is trying to calm down irate members. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to successfully assist a member because they really appreciate the effort that is put in to assist them.

Senior Management Lacks Integrity and Doesn't Support Staff
Customer Service/Branch/Operations Associate (Current Employee), Suitland, MDOctober 16, 2014
Pros: compensation and benefits are average.
Cons: lack of leadership, unequal treatment of staff, disconnect between c-level and rest of the organization.
There is poor communication from senior management. C-Level provides no leadership, no goals and very little insight on the direction of the organization. If you are new to the organization, your employment will be a revolving door. Middle management and staff are a great group of hard working people. Senior management doesn't value the quality and work ethic they bring to the organization. If you are looking for a company with sound business practices, collaboration among all levels of staff and an environment of helping others succeed, you should look elsewhere.

Every one has their own agenda and members and employees are last on those lists. Google the CEO and his activities at previous CU.
