Not about patient care
Registered Nurse/Case Manager (Former Employee), Ocala, FLMay 7, 2014
Pros: paid well, salary
Cons: unorganized and unappreciated
Management was poor and unorganized, nurses are overworked and under appreciated. It is all about the money, not about the patients. Often had to travel to several different counties in one day, worked long hours, and they were always short-staffed. Turnover was the highest I have ever seen in a company. Staff treated poorly by management.

Poor Patient Service/BEWARE
Sales Executive (Former Employee), Lincoln, NEApril 30, 2014
Cons: everything
Very high turnover in management, I had 2 within a year and the last one was replaced shortly after my dismissal. Management has no respect for employees whether you work hard or you don't. This company doesn't appreciate their employees and hires based on looks and not merit. They fire more than they hire and have no compassion for employees or customers. – more... Service is poor, so sales people have to clean up their messes as well. They do not pay enough for that. You will lose admits from this and no one cares about it. If you love what you do and others do not, you will not be successful at Angels. The goals are hard to meet and not appropriate for the industry or location. The people they hire have no motivation other than to complain about everyone and everything. This company has no integrity and cannot be trusted. – less

Enjoyed the position I held that I was able to serve others and give adaquate education to referral sources and the community.
Account Executive/ Marketer (Former Employee), Greenville, TXJanuary 20, 2014
Would call on 10-12 accounts a day and build strong relationships to care for home bound patients or residents. I leaned to make sure nothing falls through the cracks and follow up, always. I love working as a team and working together for a common goal, the patient always came first. The hardest part of my job was to know if a patient was unhappy or – more... a referral source. I always confronted the problem and did my best to resolve the situation. The best part about my job is being hands on in the community with potential patients and meeting new people. I want to be a tool for the geriatric population to have a better quality of life. – less

Enjoy working with friendly staff.
Home Health Care Field Nurse (Current Employee), Milton, Fl.November 21, 2013
Pros: autonomy
Cons: wear and tear on car.
Friendly staff and very helpful peers. As a prn nurse I usually took about a five to six patient load in a day. The agency had all needed supplies on hand. I find the hardest part of my job is trying to find a way to get patients who are noncompliant or uninterested in their disease management to become interested in learning and managing their medical – more... problems. Most enjoyable part of my job is when a patients reaches all their goals we set together. – less

Great copany and fantastic employees
Data Entry (Current Employee), Russell, KSSeptember 7, 2013
Pros: great staff
Cons: have to take a whole hour for lunch...not used to that lol
I have only been with this company for 2 weeks but I can already tell you that out of all the jobs I have had both in Kansas and in California that this is the first one that has made me feel like part of the team and part of the family. They have included me in everything and have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and have given praise – more... for jobs well done. I have already learned so much working at this office in Russell and love working with everyone here. It is a blessing to have such great people to work with. There has been no favoritism, no gossip and no CLICKS!!! Everyone works together and gets along with each other. It's very refreshing. – less

LVN (Former Employee), San Angelo, TXJuly 23, 2013
Pros: small coverage radius, good pay
Cons: criticism, favoritism, gossip, lost documents
Favoritism is high in this company especially in regards to on-call and staffing. No real praising, a lot of criticism in front of others. Very nice people to start and then manipulation. Great area though, not a lot of mileage.

I am looking for a better atmosphere in the work place. It is stressful from the time I walk in the door until I go home at night.

Started out as a great opportunity
Physical Therapist Assistant (Former Employee), Multiple places, KSJune 20, 2012
Pros: good local staff
Cons: no direct deposit
At first, lots of patients, collaboration, fun. Ended contract with this company due to consistently late payment of invoices. Angels care signs on rehab staff as "independent contractors" and does not provide direct deposit for paychecks.
