LVN Field Nurse (Former Employee) –  Forney, TXMarch 10, 2017
I worked as a field nurse at Angels. I would travel to patient's home and perform assessment, at times would draw labs, perform wound care etc. We provided teaching and communicated with patient's MD for continuity of care.

RN Case Manager (Current Employee) –  Abilene, TXMarch 2, 2017
Constant changes in demands on nurses, over working with poor compensation, concerns are not listened to or received well. Nursing staff are not protected or valued. Poor communication leaves frequent gaps in patient care.

Overworked and not compensated. Management is a revolving door, and corporate is out of touch
Registered Nurse Case Manager (Former Employee) –  Milton, FLFebruary 17, 2017
Large patient load spread out over a broad area. Not much help with getting help needed to have adequate patient loads per RN,LPN. Meetings were running over and interrupting the work day. Management does not always support staff .The days ran into evenings, on call, and weekends really got to be interfering with family life.
Pros
Lower level staff are what keep you there as long as you can stand it. Great people, really helpful, and upbeat.
Cons
Administrators have been very lacking over the last 3 years.

Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Gun Barrel City, TXFebruary 14, 2017
This is a high pressure agency with a corporate feel. At times they seem to care more about the money than the patients or staff. Very disappointed in the conflict resolution used by this agency.

High turnover, dishonest management, business development is all they care about
Nurse (Former Employee) –  TexasFebruary 12, 2017
I worked at Angels, Angmar, Crown for a while. During my time I witnessed a lot of dishonesty from corporate. This company only wants to think about business development. The patients come last. Management is quick to turn on you. There is a great lacking in training. I witnessed staff being thrown into the field with little to no support and same goes to office staff.
There are unobtainable expectations on account Executives with no thought into where the office is and what competition is doing. You can't market this. Lack of care to patients due to high turn over which hurts the a.e. position. They only care about medicare admissions.
Offices don't support one another due to the competitive nature of the company. One office would rather watch another sink then help one another.
This is the most selfish company I have ever worked for. Very clicky, quick to stab people in the back. Very unstructured little to no support which is company wide
Pros
Patients

Pretty much everything

very fast paced
Branch manager (Former Employee) –  Omaha, NEDecember 29, 2016
The most enjoyable part of the job is the patients and the care that is provided to them. No formal orientation given, staff often thrown in to position when short handed. No work/life balance, no positive reinforcement. Often work 7 days a week, and only getting paid for 5 in order to get expected work completed. Extremely high staff turnover. No support from direct management
Pros
patients
Cons
unrealistic expectations when understaffed with no support from direct management

Community Based Education
Administrator/DON (Former Employee) –  Waterford, MINovember 20, 2016
This company is all about community based education. The problem being that they fail to educate and support staff, They are also numbers driven. If the agency does not have significant growth within 6 months they get rid of old and hire new without any investment in the staff to maintain a lack of turnover. They would rather hire new than educate and train old staff. This happened 2 x within one year. They are now on their 3rd Administrator / DON within 18 months.
Pros
Community Based
Cons
Lack of Support

The nurses here are in general great, but it has a terrible corporate structure and management. Compensation was also far below what similar positions in the same city is.

DON (Former Employee) –  Lincoln, NEOctober 18, 2016
Poor management that can't be trusted and corporate is even worse. You can't even trust HR. Company only cares about money and the proof is in the fact that they would rather let good staff go and replace them then be decent to them and retain them...they don't care as long as they are making money. When they aren't making money they will show up to talk down to you and tell you that you aren't good enough!

Everything else
