Forward thinking company with a lot of opportunity for growth.
Operations Manager (Former Employee), Canton, OHJuly 6, 2014
The work days went by fast because you were always busy. Anheuser is a company of owners, not just employees. Each manager had a sense of ownership and performed their responsibilities accordingly.

Hardest part of the job was troubleshooting situations if the technology went out. The most enjoyable part of the job was the satisfaction and sense of – more... accomplishment we would receive after solving a problem or making an improvement. – less

Super Fun Place to Work with Great Pay
DraftMark Field Representative (Former Employee), Atlanta, GAMay 26, 2014
Pros: make your own schedule
Cons: very little job security
My typical day from Monday to Thursday was basically planning for events on the weekends, driving to liquor stores in the area and checking the stock of beer, and talking with distributors about any concerns.

Management was great…the only downside was they weren't in complete control over the decisions made by the CEO's of AB.

The hardest part of – more... the job was making sure the distributors ordered more beer and the beer was in code at each liquor store. – less

Great Place for Work Experience
Co-op (Current Employee), St. Louis, MOApril 9, 2014
Pros: 3 day weekends, reasonable hours, young small staff
Cons: 4 ten hour shifts throughout week, work holidays without holiday pay
This place has taught me many skills that cannot be taught in class. I've learned about true project management which includes time management, organization, and communcation. I've also learned a lot about troubleshooting, decision making and teamwork within a company. As a co-op, I have definitely benefitted from all of the experience that I have gained – more... working for AB. – less

It is like another large company.
IT Specialist I & II (Current Employee), St. Louis MOJanuary 14, 2014
Pros: pay well
Cons: you are always about one budget cut away from being laid off.
There are good and bad things about working here just like any other large company.

Too-lean staffing and unattainable targets
Manager (Current Employee), Houston, TXNovember 12, 2013
Pros: free beer, lots of responsibility, decent benefits, great pay
Cons: union staff, top-down management style, infrequent bonus, poor work-life balance
I work in a brewery in salaried staff. Before InBev, the staffing was very heavy. Now, it is way too thin. On-call all hours of the day and night including weekends and holidays. Coworkers are just as overworked as you are which makes for a miserable environment, and meetings take up your day. It's harder and harder to step back and remember "it's ok – more... - you're making beer." The company is doing great financially at the expense of equipment that breaks down more often. I think it would be better to work for this company in a corporate position - production is high stress, low reward, no sleep and there is no such thing as personal time. – less

Great people to work with, best in the business.
Category Space Manager (Former Employee), Los Angeles, CAAugust 8, 2013
Pros: company car, travel, corporate card, trade spending accounts, 2 cases of beer per month.
Cons: zero work-life balance, unrealistic work schedules, promotions don't pay the minimums listed on job postings.
At one time a great company, however focus has changed. Most people who enter the company mid level to high management usually turnover quickly because they are not ready for the workload involved. However, those that rise in ranks from sales are given the tools to succeed anywhere. There is no typical day at work, other than working 10 to 14 hour days – more... regularly. If you aren't afraid of the word no and have no problem with hard work then you just might make it in AB. – less

Manage the Drug, Dollar and Convenience Channels with cross promotional opportunities
Senior Manager, Channel Strategist (Current Employee), St. Louis, MONovember 13, 2012
Pros: sampling opportunities
Develop and analyze cross promotional programs helping to close sales gaps within the small format channels. Developing ROI on each program was challenging due to the constant changes and impacts within the different categories that were sold to consumers at the retail level. The overall impact of the customer drove the decision making and trying to – more... understand the complexity of the customer made for the most enjoyable part of the job. – less
