This hospital brings a lot of potential to those that are barely coming into the specialty/ER world in the sense that you'll learn A LOT! The only problem is, you're working with rotating interns each year, 10 or so, and many are also beginning their experience with specialty/ER so you have to really be on your toes in catching mistakes, even if our senior doctors are there. There's a lot of good, hard working, caring people, but some of the cases can take a toll on you, especially when your doctors don't hear your pleas concerning a patient's well being. Management can be hard to work with, sometimes taking months to almost a year to get what you've asked for in the sense of scheduling, raises, and promotions leading to high turnover rates.
