Animals Matter, Inc. is a pet products manufacturer, located in Palm Springs, CA. We are currently seeking a receptionist to work in our Palm Springs location.
Receives customer service calls, with the ability to resolve issues arriving from these calls and to process orders.
Handles and resolves any customer complaints, returns, warranty claims, etc.,
Must be able to problem solve and be able to make logical decisions of how to handle any situation.
Must be able to learn the products, answer questions regarding the products, fabrics, colors, how they work, etc.
Interacts with other departments, such as production and warehousing/shipping departments.
Must be detail oriented, able to perform intense data entry, work with spreadsheets and help with inventory, purchasing, etc..
Be willing to perform other clerical duties as asked and or required.
3-5 years customer service, call center and data entry experience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to get along with all types of people and staff.
Ability to handle a fast paced environment, multi-task and work well under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc..
Scanning of documents, creating pdf's and placing in Dropbox folders.
Must be familiar and have the ability to enter data into spreadsheets, our accounting software and website. This would include product descriptions, pricing columns and categories.
Must be able to type 60 words per minute and extremely proficient with a computer.
This is a full time position.
