Annandale Village provides a natural and serene environment for adults with developmental disabilities. Annandale began through the concern of Dr. and Mrs. Maxwell Berry for the future and welfare of their child with developmental disabilities, "they wanted what all parents want for their children in adulthood ... the opportunity for the best life possible." Located approximately 30 miles north of Atlanta on a beautifully wooded site, Annandale at Suwanee, Inc., known as Annandale Village, is a private nonprofit community for adults with developmental disabilities. Annandale offers a comprehensive range of residential and non-residential programs and services to help men and women lead lives that reflect quality, value, self worth, and achievement.
The Annandale concept recognizes individual differences, encourages personal accomplishment, and promotes wholesome, interactive, responsible community living. All aspects of Annandale build on a foundation of warmth, security, and acceptance in the village community. Residents must be 18 years of age or older and ambulatory with a primary diagnosis of mental retardation, other developmental disability, or traumatic brain injury. – less–ZoomInfo
