Public Sector Manager/Contracts Specialist (Former Employee) – Iselin, NJ – February 7, 2018
I worked at Ansell for 5 years in multiple positions within the company. Management was very strong, and I enjoyed the work environment. The only reasons I left were because of the long commute, and lack of career advancement.
Ansell is a very high stress place to work with little oversight. If you are motivated and work hard you can progress. Ansell does need to reevaluate what it pays their employees but they make up for it in vacation time.
Every day was filled with new challenges. Learned about the dynamics of managing both medical and industrial products. Management team very knowledgeable and committed. Culture of doing the right thing and always going the extra mile. The hardest part of the job was trying to balance the needs from multiple parts of the organization. The most enjoyable part was the team work and spirit of global collaboration.

Lots of autonomy, the company takes great care of their employees regarding benefits. Coworkers like to gossip, typical corporate America stuff. If your boss and coworkers like you, you're set, if not, trust no one! Great pay!
My typical work day get coffee from the bistro first thing once getting settled in, in the morning. Review any work from prior day, assist the controller with any projects or work that needs to be done to meet current deadlines. Management was very organized and all responsibilities were properly delegated to the staff accordingly. The hardest part of the job was month-end close there was a lot of reports and reconciliations that needed to be run in a short amount of time. The most enjoyable part of the job was the social atmosphere, it was very easy to get along with everyone.
Very good working atmosphere, had great hard working co-workers, we took great pride in our product and in our work, working as a group was great also working alone at times in different areas, i.e. clean up during shutdown shredder, was also great, had very good supoervisors good relationships were built the hardest part of the job was seeing it leave the U.S.

Surgery Center Specialist, OR Sales Representative (Current Employee) – Red Bank, NJ – August 17, 2012
A great company that really looks out for it's employees. A typical day required cold calls, or appointments. The frequent evaluations helped to break up the day to day routine. Overall it is a great company to work for, and they will really help you get your feet on the ground in the medical industry.
