When busy, very rewarding.
CAD Designer (Former Employee), Pretoria, GautengApril 15, 2013
Cons: not being busy all the time
Design of Printed Circuit Boards. When not busy with design, update of library parts to IPC-7351 specification. Training on Solidworks - a mechanical design package.

Trained on Altium, and Solidworks. Also made use of Visio and Microstation.

Management of the company was always approachable, and assisted when and where necessary.

Co-workers were, – more... most of the time pleasant and easy to work with. When necessary, they were available to assist with any queries.

The most difficult part of the day was trying to learn new programs on the fly, and to be productive at the same time. Work was on occasion scarce.

Doing board layouts was the most enjoyable, and at the same time most challenging, part of the job. This I experienced over the years, being in a research and development environment. Constantly updating on a day-to-day basis, also introduced challenges. – less
