Overall a Good Company
Project Manager (Current Employee) –  CaliforniaJune 14, 2017
Antea Group is/was a great place to get your feet wet right out of college Although pay is below standard, the amount of work and training is abundant, and they provide great benefits. Depending on your level of enthusiasm and your willingness to learn new skills, promotions through the "consulting continum" can be achieved accordingly. However these days, your worth and promotions is more based on the certificates and/or services you can provide to a client rather than your overall performance and years of service.

An employer with very great safety culture where discussions are valued. Your work will depend on the available client work. Depending on your role or projects that you support, work hours are flexible.
Pros
Work with friends
Cons
They will over work you if you let them

Executive Assistant to EVP (Current Employee) –  Norcross, GANovember 29, 2016
Small office, flexible work week. The culture is relaxed and they do participate in annual volunteer projects. Annual holiday functions are very nice.

positive work ethic with good benefits
Project Professional (Former Employee) –  WiscJune 27, 2016
Pros: Minimum red tape for a big company, good benefits with work/life balance for a consulting company, big national/int. clients, opportunity if willing to relocate, diverse projects, more transparent than most on strategic and company-wide initiatives.

Cons: Office locations grow and shrink depending upon big client workloads. Rather weak on mentoring and growing staff internally. A bit weak on resource sharing or building varied skill sets across company workforce.

Great place, good workload, very nice coworkers/ managers
Staff Professional (Former Employee) –  Farmington, CTSeptember 9, 2015
The entry level position is very labor intensive. It was tough but enjoyable, the worst part I think was having to work outside during not so great weather. The management is great, they care about your personal advancement through the company and your well-being. The pay wasn't really that great, but they know that and are inclined to give raises every year.
Pros
Coworkers, Management system, Regard for employee safety and wellbeing
Cons
Pay

Fun place to work
Staff Geologist (Former Employee) –  Charlotte, NCJune 22, 2015
Office environment is very fun and helps boost morale. The company is a little top heavy with Project Managers and very few field technicians.

My experience at Antea Group (formerly Delta Engineers)
Employee (Former Employee) –  West Chester, PAJuly 11, 2011
The company is very cost conscious and rightfully so in this economic climate. However, at the same token, they are willing to hire with the expectation that the new hire will learn by osmosis. They provide more time on safety training, even in positions that don't require it, rather than the essentials of the job. Nor do they provide resources for the new employee. This is common throughout the company. Management is totally inflexible and promotes micromanaging their employees. They will offer one a reasonable salary, then demote them in less than a year. They also force their hourly employees to work more hours than they are paid which is highly illegal, but given the status of the economy employees are willling to do so in order to keep their jobs. I do not recommend working for this company, unless you can read minds and have a high tolerance to hostility.
Cons
inflexible, micromanaging, management has unrealistic expectations, no on-job training provided, disrespectful, unreasonable long hours
