Anthem provided a good training program to guide us in our duties. The manager was pro-active and stood beside us along the way. Quality is the type of position where you must have experience in all aspects to be able to perform quality on processing ,customer service, enrollment and appeals. Cons: highly stressful at times due to the industry
while reporting to work daily on a flex schedule I was able to electronically clock in anywhere from 5 am to 9 am to review schedule of daily assignments of types of claims to process. Best parts of job are ability to work from home, hard working co-workers with excellent work ethics. Day shift recently changed to 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday with 1hr lunch break. But, never able to make evening plans due to not knowing when you will actually get off. Have had opportunity to cross train to do multiple aspects of job. I enjoyed my job with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Virginia. When to company merged with Wellpoint, the culture and working environment changed.
