Janitor/Stockclerk (Former Employee), Denver, CO – April 26, 2012
Pros: i was eventually able to get more hours, and 401k was great.
Cons: they could offer 401k but not benefits.
One of the best places I've worked. It was fast paced and had lots of different things going on all the time, it was hard to get bored there, I learned some things about merchandising and how to set up displays. My manager did a lot of traveling to different Anthropologies and when she came back and told that we had the cleanest store she had ever seen, – more... that made my day. I got along with the majority of the co-workers that were mostly women. This job was part-time and the hardest part was sometimes leaving. Working with with a lot of different women was fun. – less
I interned at the Anthropologie store in Dallas at Northpark and absolutely loved it. So much fun and really a hands on environment. Not only do you get to have your awesome work displayed around the store, but you also learn a lot about the ins and outs of the company.
Manager in Training (Current Employee), Short Hills, NJ – February 25, 2012
Pros: great employee benefits
Cons: promotions within aren't encouraged enough
Anthropologie stays true to standards in regards to customer service and quality of their products. Their customers should always feel comfortable in finding what they are looking for while having a sense of individuality and style.
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Rhode Island – January 25, 2012
Cons: short hours for sales
Excellent place to work. This is a very fast paced job but it is also very rewarding. Working here was not like any other retail store that I have ever worked at.
