Anytime Fitness is looking for an energetic and highly motivated part-time Club Manager at our location in Jordan, MN. Our Club Managers are responsible for consistent improvement of club sales and operations through effective planning, implementation, use and exercise of independent judgment and discretion in determining how to best maximize profits
The Club Manager will actively pursue enrollment of new members through self-generated and Company-sponsored programs, promotions and referrals. Including but not limited to: establishing and maintaining lead boxes; calling on new businesses for corporate accounts, obtain leads from existing members, give club tours and membership presentations, utilize computer programs to track appointments and sales. Part-time position. Must be at least 18 years of age. Anytime Fitness is an equal opportunity employer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the successful attainment including membership growth and member retention
Is the point of reference for fitness expertise within the club.
Handles member service matters such as providing tours of the Club, explaining services offered
Possesses a strong member service focus. Responds professionally to requests and inquires from guests, members and staff.
Manage day to day operations, providing timely, consistent and action orientated skills
Mediates member issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner, elevating issues when appropriate.
Performs various administrative duties within assigned areas as needed
Communicates pertinent information to the Fitness Team.
Alerts the Service staff to repairs and maintenance needs in the club.
Complies with operational procedures in the club and follows-up with compliance checks through the monitoring of club systems

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Able to generate, maintain & demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic & positive attitude.
Service oriented attitude towards members
Possess strong organizational skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
Understands basic record keeping practices and procedures
Understands and follow oral and written instructions
Communicates clearly and concisely
Must be able to adjust and operate all Fitness Equipment.
Knowledge of Personal Training techniques from assessment to program design.
Knowledge of the personal training program and software a plus.
Experience operating office equipment such as computers, calculators, fax and photocopiers.
Must be computer proficient with basic skills in Word and Excel.

Certifications / Education Level:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
Prior management experience, preferably in a health related field
