Apismellis Homecare is currently seeking a human resource specialist with the following qualifications:
Support Apismellis Homecare LLC by attracting the best qualified clinician applicants to fill job openings for replacement or newly-created positions.
Coordinating recruitment and employment functions, including but not limited to: applicant sourcing and screening, referral of qualified applicants to appropriate manager/supervisor, advertising and requisition tracking, preparation of progress reports for management.
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Apismellis Homecare LLC commitment to superior customer service, including quality care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
Identifies appropriate sourcing strategies in consultation with hiring manager/supervisor.
Writes recruitment advertisements and places them in appropriate print media, professional journals or internet job boards. Recruits prospective employees at professional job fairs.
Screens resumes and refers qualified applicants to hiring departments. Conducts preliminary interview (in person or by phone) as requested by client.
Conducts pre-employment skills testing and recommends revisions to testing tools and process as needed. Maintains frequent phone or e-mail contact with final selected applicants pending hiring decision.
Coordinates pre-employment drug screening and background check processes. Makes verbal job offers and prepares written offer letters. Develops and implements internship and externship programs.
Maintain complete employee files at the branch locations.
Maintains networking contacts for sourcing applicants.
Responds to employees who have applied for inter-department transfers and schedules employees for interviews as appropriate.
Promotes employee referral program and coordinates processing of bonuses.
Uses, protects, and discloses Apismellis Homecare LLC patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Bachelor's Degree, Includes special certification required for specific jobs.
At least one year experience in human resources.
Prior recruiting experience in a healthcare environment. Previous experience working with applicant tracking systems. Prior experience recruiting home health clinicians.
