Apogee provides all full-time employees personal time off benefits. Every employee accrues PTO at the rate of 30 days (240 hours) per year. The PTO is accrued in the biweekly paychecks at a rate of 9.23 hrs per pay period. Part-time regular employees are also eligible for PTO and will accrue leave on a pro-rated basis.
Apogee does not differentiate between vacation, sick time, and holidays. Employees can use their PTO whenever they like, but, should coordinate with their manager and take into account the affect on the mission.
You must get prior approval from management if you plan on using more PTO than you have accrued. Employees are allowed to carry unused vacation into the following year. If you choose to separate employment from Apogee Integration, you will receive payment for all accrued unused PTO up to 120 hours.
