Everyone is coin operated, culture is non-existent
Account Manager (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAApril 27, 2017
If you want to come in and make a ton of money without feeling any kind of sense of culture or community, this is the place for you.
My experience was poor because I thrive on company culture and mentorship - App Annie has none of that.

Job Culture
High potential company, but workaholic culture stems from management
Marketing (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJune 30, 2015
Despite their efforts to put in programs to improve company culture, the workaholic culture at App Annie is pervasive and shows little signs of changing.

Nearly everyone that has left voluntarily has cited reasons pertaining to the workaholic culture — need to spend more time w/ family or burnt out.

There has been a lot of turnover in just a year, while bringing on some 100 people in the US, there have been over 30 departures.

If you are willing to commit yourself to this company, you'll do great and you'll reap the rewards (they're on track to go public in a year or two). But it will come at a cost of family time and outside activities.
Free lunches, flexible work schedule
Offices in Asia, Europe, and SF means regularly working early/late; Workaholic culture; Little loyalty.
